I specialize in walleye and salmon fishing trips, but can also target small mouth bass and northern pike which are very abundant on Lake Sakakawea as well. What I Provide:

I am going to be starting my walleye trips on the western part of Sakakawea a few days earlier than I planned so short notice but I have a couple available days for May yet. I did a deal a few weeks ago, book a 3 day walleye trip for may get a free day of salmon fishing later this summer and it booked immediately. Im feeling generous and decided to offer 1 more deal for the 2026 season. Book may 11 and 12 and fish free the 13th. This is priced at a 3 person trip minimum. If you need lodging i will help you get that taken care of as well. First group that says Ill take it so dont wait!

Just a few day trips left for our salmon charters. If you can't make a day trip and still want to go, give our evening charters a try. I charge 500 and is good for up to 4 people. This is the best value per angler charter i provide and the evening trips are much more quiet and peaceful with not much traffic compared to our day trips. Tough to beat fighting salmon and a sunset in one picture.

I also have some custom flashers for sale again this season in both 8 and 11 inch. Walleyes and salmon are definitely our bread and butter here on Lake Sakakawea and the missouri river but the other species are just as much fun. One of my more exiting and only shorefishing guide trips I've ever done several years back. This group had fished walleyes on the lake several times and did a tailrace multi species trip with me as well catching walleyes, catfish, trout and salmon. Asking about pike and being the time of the year it was, I gave them the option and we hopped from spot to spot in the pickup and casted spoons for a day hooking into a good number of pike including personal bests for everyone. The youngsters were jacked to get their biggest fish ever and were already talking with dad about getting them mounted.

OK, let's try something I haven't done before. I have a stretch of days from May 7-14 open as of right now, 8 days for walleye trips on the western end of Lake Sakakawea. This is an excellent time of the year chasing shallow water fish. The 8 people that book these days, unless someone takes 2 or more will have their names tossed in a hat and I will do a live drawing. Winner will receive a free 8 hour salmon charter during our August/September salmon season. If you take 2 days your name goes in twice. The odds can't get any better than that! Lots of really nice salmon and a great average last season put plenty of smiles on our clients faces. Looking forward and fingers crossed for another great run in 2026. I have some day trips still available along with evening trips.
