The "Beano" album is one of my favorite albums, and has been so pretty much since I first heard it.

You are invited to a private listening event on Saturday November 2, 2024 from 1PM to 6PM at our showrooms in River Vale. We are showing two systems, each featuring speakers from the new Genesis 7 Series. Sources will be VPI and Wand turntables, and amplification will be from Heed Audio.

Our special guest Gary Koh, President and Chief Designer of Genesis Advanced Technologies, will discuss the technologies behind the Genesis Foxtrot speakers, Hyper Sonic X4 cartridge, and VPI Avenger phonostage.

Our designer, Gary decided one day to design the "extreme-mest" cartridge he could dream of. The result was the Hyper Sonic X4. At this year's Capital Audiofest 2024, it will be featured in two rooms: one hosted by our dealer Distinctive Stereo, and one hosted by our friends VPI Industries.

With the expert help of Michael Trei, this weekend we installed the Hypersonic X4 cartridge on my VPI Industries HW-40 Anniversary turntable. This is part of the main system, which includes the Genesis Advanced Technologies, Inc. Tribute Loudspeakers, Genesis Advanced Technologies, Inc. Platinum phonostage, and Genesis Advanced Technologies, Inc. Anniversary monoblocks. Though I was familiar with the X4, it took my system to a far greater level than I imagined.
