Mowing with my excess energy from the sun this year. I was reluctant to claim this because I wasn’t sure how this electric mower and I would get along. Four mows in and I think it’s going to work out. If I had much more to mow (about double what is pictured) I would not recommend this particular mower unless you bought extra batteries.

Our solar canopy has been on-grid for 25 days now. So far it has captured 1,122 kWhs of energy from the sun. That computes to $135 in savings at current electricity rates. 821 kWhs of that energy has been put onto the grid.
It’s safe to say that we’re net zero and set-up to cover some additional energy usage. When electric vehicle charging becomes the norm we’ll be ready for it.

All electrical needs will soon be covered by energy from the sun. The project is complete pending an inspection.
