Middle Earth Woodcrafting

Middle Earth Woodcrafting Fine woodcrafting inspired by my favorite series of books. As a wee lad, my grandfather started teaching me how to work with wood in his basement shop.

I've dabbled with various projects over the years, and have always loved the smell of a wood shop. I'm now able to spend more time working with wood, and I invite you to come along on this journey. I will be offering most of the projects you see here for sale - so if you see something you like, let me know. I'm also open to suggestions and special requests.

This cutting board gets a complex herringbone section in the middle. I have half of the herringbone pieces cut, and it's a challenge - but I've always loved the herringbone pattern in different woods. This one is Red Oak, Maple and Purpleheart.
