Just an FYI for those of you that use USPS to ship packages.
USPS "Special Handling-Fragile" services were officially discontinued in 2022. While you can still use red "fragile" labels, they generally do not guarantee special, gentle handling, as most mail is processed through automated systems. For fragile items, the best approach is to use proper, robust packaging materials and purchase additional shipping insurance.

Today is Rare Disease Day. Inflammatory Breast Cancer is labeled as a rare disease. What is the criteria to label a disease rare? A disease or disorder is defined as rare in the United States when it affects fewer than 200,000 Americans at any given time. Over 6000 rare diseases are labeled as rare and interesting enough (with rare diseases, as we see with IBC pts), sometime symptoms can vary from patient to patient presenting with this disease. The swelling of one breast tends to be a classic sign but sometimes women (or men) will only have more subtle signs. Please in honor of this day, share our posts, tell someone about IBC.
