We hate to make a post like this, but it is what it is. Unfortunate is what it is. Back in 2021 we donated a board to a very grateful kid who was saving up to buy a board. Yesterday we let him and his brother Cameron Freeman (thats whats listed on the waiver) skate the indoor ramp.

Today Billy noticed that he couldnt find his skateboard. He went to the skatepark and asked the kids there if they saw anything. They said Zion and Cameron were at the park with Billy's board. Cameron told the guys that he had bought the board from the shop.

If anyone knows the parents of these kids, if you could please get us in touch it would be greatly appreciated.

This one’s tough to write....

This May marks 5 years of Central Skate Supply. When my brother Josh and I opened the shop, the goal was simple.. create a place where the skate community could come together. With everything moving online, true skate shops have become harder to find, and we wanted to build something real for our area.

Over the years, we’ve met some incredible people. We’ve helped kids get their very first boards, and we’ve had lifelong skaters... 40, 50+ years deep, walk through our doors. That mix of people, backgrounds, and stories is what makes skateboarding so special, and it’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

With that being said, I’ve made the decision to close Central Skate Supply.

The shop has reached the point where there’s only so much more it can do without bigger things happening locally. I’ve pushed hard to try and bring a new skatepark to Ridgely because I truly believe that’s what the town needs to grow the scene and bring more people in. But projects like that take time, and nothing is guaranteed.

At the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for my family. I’ve been given a new opportunity, and I believe it’s the right move to take.

Here’s what to expect moving forward:

Starting in May, the shop will be open Saturdays and Sundays only until further notice. If you need something during the week, shoot me a text. If I’m around, I’ll open up. Just check ahead so you’re not making a trip for nothing. Any changes will always be posted here.

I’ll be announcing closeout sale details soon.

I can’t thank you all enough for the support over the past 5 years. The shop has meant a lot to me, and it’s because of the people who walked through those doors.

This isn’t easy, but it’s time for the next chapter.

I thank God for another day clean and for doing on a daily basis what I can not do for myself. I woke up with 12 years clean today! Only by his grace and mercy. I've spent much of this morning reflecting and praising the Lord for allowing me to be here today. Without my fiancé Gennie, and my brothers in Christ, I don't know where I'd be. It really is a miracle. I'm so grateful. It truly is a miracle!

Tomorrow is bigger than just a drop or a session. It’s about community. It’s about every kid who stepped on a board for the first time in our shop, every late-night ramp jam, every parent who believed in their kid’s passion, every road trip, every slammed trick that turned into a make.

I’m beyond grateful to be a part of your journey in skateboarding. Whether you’ve been rocking with us since day one or just found your way through the doors, your support over the years means everything to me. This shop exists because of YOU.

Shout-out to my boy for being the first person to come into the shop and setup his very first custom complete skateboard for his birthday! 🎂 This means that he won some Reynolds #933's to go along with this sick VX!!! 🔥🔥🔥 You’ll always remember this board. This isn’t just wood and wheels... this is the day you officially became a skater. Every scar on it is going to tell a story. One day you’ll look back and realize this was the start of something that changed your life. Welcome to the crew.

The first custom complete skateboard sold in shop will come with a free pair of New Balance Numeric 933 Andrew Reynolds.
No raffle. No hoops to jump through.
Just putting together a proper setup and walking out with a solid pair of Reynolds for free.
