The watermelon crop is progressing well! We're starting to see small fruit appear in the fields. It won’t be many more weeks until we have fresh, seedless watermelons coming in 🍉

A much needed rain delay after a big week in the wheat fields 🌾

We knocked out 70% of our wheat acres this week and the bean team is close behind planting soybeans behind the harvested wheat. Lots of hours, dedication, and team work to make it happen!

The last round of watermelon plants arrived today 🍉

Next week, our team will set these out while continuing to care for the early-planted melons. We stagger the planting dates to give us a bigger window of fruit once the watermelons start producing.

We hope to see the first red watermelons in July🍉

The House has moved the Farm Bill forward, and now it’s time for action on E15 next. A vote on year-round E15 access is expected next week.

Year-round access to E15 is a practical step Congress can take to strengthen domestic demand for corn while helping drivers save money at the pump.

Passing H.R. 1346, the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act, would be a win for both farmers and consumers.
