We’re doing a lil listening party for the vinyl release of Angine De Poitrine’s two albums, “Vol. I” and “Vol. II”, out on June 12th!

Join us that night to hear the songs amongst fans, pick up a copy if you haven’t already, get a free poster flat, and enter to win a pair of tickets to see them at 🙂‍↕️ polka dots and replica costumes ARE encouraged!! We LOVE this band so come jam out with us!

Surprise! Thrice is stopping by Plan 9 on Sunday, June 14th for a meet & greet + signing before their headlining show at The National that night!

To attend the signing at 1pm, all you need to do is order a copy of ANY thrice album (CD or LP) at plan9music.com and select “Pick Up in Richmond Store” for your delivery method. Once ordered, your name on the order will be added to the guest list. Friends and family may come with you as long as you order one copy per person who wants to attend the signing and note in the order notes the names of your plus ones.

If you’re looking for suggestions on which Thrice title to pick up, might we suggest “Horizons/West”? Out in October, it’s self produced by the band and balances cinematic tones with spacious atmosphere. Blending post rock textures from their earlier albums with the same rhythmic complexity from “Horizons/East”, the band has sharpened its edge without losing nuance. After more than two decades, Thrice continues building catharsis from chaos, and clarity from noise.
