I am right there - 54 years old and Menopause slammed me into a place of total unrecognition with my body 5 years ago. The 25 pounds I've gained just won't move - but I don't want to wait any longer to wear clothes that make me happy!! As wise fashion guru's once said, "you have to dress the body you have now." So, I took that advise to heart and jumped in! I used to wear only yoga pants, or fleec

e vests and jackets and shapeless black stuff - thinking I would just camo myself into my surroundings - so much so that my husband finally said, "enough with the black!"
Since I've been wearing Johnny Was with the myriad of life represented on their pieces; color, birds, flowers, etc. I feel great and my husband loves how I look! Pieces that make me happy, that put a smile on face and turn heads - no matter what size you are NOW. I just helped to put a smile on Margarets face yesterday and she is taking her new Johnny Was Black Silk Betty Dress embellished with peacocks and red passion flowers with her to LA for the holiday's - smiling all the way! That's why I opened my store. I look forward to helping all of you look and feel great NOW. 2016 is going to be fantastic and so are we!
