April is almost here, Flower Friends! This year’s early spring vinegar is steeping for its unveiling at the Richmond Ren Faire! Violets, violas, red bud flowers, and a little nettle to spice up your spring and summer salads!

Flower tea and Floral Fire cider will also be available at the Ren Faire - as well as information and sign up for Clinical Herbal consultations with yours truly!

Come to the Herbalists & Healers Guild tent at the Ren Faire April 18-19 for demos to get you started making your own infusions, to understand the ancient art of distillation, and to learn about oxymels and tinctures.

Hey Flower Friends! The next Smocktail Hour is happening this coming Sunday Nov. 16th! The sign up link is below - please note the sliding scale pricing.

What is Smocktail Hour, you ask? It’s a super local gathering where you get to make something fun with a local artist, and sip hand-crafted botanical mocktails (made by yours truly), connecting with others in a welcoming atmosphere.

For this one, Heidi Spieth Rugg of ifeltcurious will lead us in making bas-relief needle-felted mushrooms, and we will sip fall-themed botanical mocktails (hand-crafted by yours truly) meant to boost your immunity and delight.

Special thanks going out to all who stopped by on Friday at lewisginter Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden for the solstice, and tried a floral mocktail with us! What a lovely time talking and sharing in the beauty of the flowers. 🌸🌿🌺 These moments of connection are so important.

There’s still time for pre-orders for a new batch of floral salt, which makes a great rim salt for mocktails/cocktails ($8 small jar - all pre-ground, $22 for large jars). DM me by Thurs 6/26 to get on the list! :)

I hope that the Petal Palate flower tea added something special to the weekend gatherings (would love to hear how it went, and what fabulous creations emerged! ;-) ).
