I love a good expo, but I came back with too much! Until I remember to not overpack in advance, everyone gets a chance at some price cuts from the expo leftovers! I was too touched not to share. This individual is one of the wisest but strangest people I have the pleasure of calling part of my chosen family along with his wild lil mom. He's pulled me out of some terrible head spaces, sometimes without even knowing it. Loving the album artwork buddy. Ive spent a lot of time playing where's waldo with that collage.

Week continues & while we’ve been talkin music & merch (hit BlackLiq.com for that) we gotta switch it up. Let’s talk artwork! This incredible album cover was painted by Pat Jensen & it still gives me the chills. Here’s the story:

The artwork for my album which was shot in the Strange Matter bathroom by BCMusic1st with some help from my brother from another mother Roger Tyler had raised the bar.

Last minute idea or not, that s**t blew people away. That standard had to be met & man, my mind was blank!

Honestly it felt like none of us had an exact idea of what this thing was going to look like, especially since we had all been so focused on how it sounded. Prolyphic was coming full circle & becoming Mopes I was fulfilling a lifelong dream, Sage Francis Storm& BC were tolerating my endless emails!

It was hectic.

In the midst of all this my mom was coming back from being in a SNF & I had to do a deep clean of my house. Another of brothers from another, Creep On Cryptin' really came through for me during this time, I’m lucky to have people like him in my life. Dealing with the house & preparations was so overwhelming.

In the midst of this I found over 1000 pictures & around 50 of rolls of film. Fast forward to when I got them developed & I found myself looking at my life, chapters I had forgotten. It seemed like another person. Ironically In the midst of discussing the album it seemed the common theme was my upbringing. I was telling my life story, one rhyme at time.

Now my life story was staring back at me.

It turns out when you take a bunch of pictures & scan them, you get a collage. From that collage you begin to see yourself, in fragments, yet as one. Sage said Pat was down to put in work & so we picked the “right” photos. I wasnt sure but hey, “Sage advice” right? Pat sent a mock up & said he was “going to paint it” once we decided it was solid.

I was like right. Paint. Sure.

I couldn’t believe it when we got it. I sent it to my dad over JPay & he said “stop holding out & send me those pictures!” S**t was just that real.

A new concept this year! Humanely collected spider webs in frame vs the typical canvas. Focused around 3 spiny orb weaver webs, surrounded by stretches of cellar spider webs. The frame itself is also adorned with a large barn spider web! Asking 5️⃣0️⃣➕🚢 for this particular item. Dimensions are 14×8.
