If you are one of the many artists and creatives with an excess of yarn that you don’t know what to do with, I have a unique opportunity to put some to good use! If you bring a selection of blue, green and neutral yarns (weight and material does not matter) to one of my art shows in the next couple of months, I will happily exchange them for a free 8”x10” paper print of your choice! I have a big art piece in mind to start this fall, and rather than buy a bunch of yarn to only use a little of it, I would love to incorporate pieces that are left over from the creative endeavors of others. I am so SO excited for this piece, and I look forward to bringing everyone along on the journey!

What a weekend at Minnehaha Falls Art Fair - thank you to everyone who came out for the festivities! As I unravel the chaos that is unpacking from an art fair, I thought I would post this mini that I finished last week :) This one has more layers than I have ever done, and some shiny strings for that bit of eye-catching sparkle ✨

It’s the last day of the Minnehaha Falls Art Fair! Yesterday was so fun, vibes are great, and we are doing it all again until 5 PM today. Come check out the amazing artists and we’ll see how far I get on my cat/flower piece today :)

SCHEDULE UPDATE: Because outside is toxic, the event schedule has been updated to just Saturday and Sunday, which look like they will be much more pleasant days!

Prep is underway for Art at St. Kate’s tomorrow in St. Paul from 10 AM - 5 PM. Setting up the booth, actually being at the show, and tearing it down all in the same day is a lot, but it sure beats those nights laying awake at 2 AM while a thunderstorm rolls through knowing that your life’s work is sitting in a field somewhere.

I’m determined to be prepared early enough to at least try to get some sleep beforehand, but I’m always so excited I never sleep much anyways. I’ll be at booth 62, basically in the middle of the triangle so you can’t miss me!

I also finished this mini just in time - I’ll have it with me and the original/mini prints are on my website!

My socks may be soaked through from keeping my tent from floating away this morning, but I am here at Wayzata until 4 PM today - fingers crossed the weather holds out!

I also have a brand new mini that is not posted on my website yet :)

Another summer weekend, another art show - I’m in downtown Wayzata until 6 PM today and from 10 AM - 4 PM tomorrow. I’m booth 65 between Minnetonka Ave and Manitoba Ave!
