Rugby Junction Studios is a collaboration of the Sparks family creative talents specializing in embroidery, vinyl products, screen printing, metal/reclaimed wood art & crafts and photography. But there is so much more rich history to our place just beyond the tracks. The railroad junction on which our property sits was named Rugby Junction in the early 1900's. Looking for a clever name we thought
what better way to honor the place we call home and so Rugby Junction Studios was born. She works with the client from start to finish creating amazing one of a kind apparel pieces. We can do small orders for special occasions, like a customized onesie for little ones first birthday, or we can crank out large orders for the local fire departments uniforms. There is nothing too big or too small. Not only can she create custom apparel, but her equipment also allows her to produce vinyl not only for clothing, but for custom bumper stickers, windows, cars and more. Some of her vinyl work is even featured on racecars at our very own Slinger Speedway. Bring your ideas and Dori will bring them to life. Charlie and Loren love to work with their hands. This father and son team has a background in construction and took that talent to art and crafts in their spare time. Some of their most recent pieces include a custom towel rack made from old railroad spikes, lawn birds made from recycled shovels and a custom handmade barn door with tracks, as well as log furniture. Charlie has a natural talent in drawing and metal work, some of his pieces are featured in local businesses like Wicked Archery and some have traveled all the way to ranches in Colorado. There is no material that they can't turn into something beautiful and creative. Laurelle is the operator of Laurelle Sparks Photography here at Rugby Junction Studios.
