Resharing from LinkedIn about Yair Golan is, a 61-year-old retired Major General in the Israel army and a former parliament MP and a left wing activist.

Yesterday, to support the efforts of IDF and the police, Golan put on his old uniform, took his weapon, and drove into the war zone multiple times to rescue civilians under fire.

He rescued two young adults hiding under a bush after 260 of their friends were murdered at an outdoor party.

He answered a call from a journalist that his son was hiding under fire and said, "Give me his location, and I will bring him back home." An hour later, the son called his father from Golan's car.

Golan collected a small crew and went in and out of the war zone, rescuing dozens of people while exchanging fire with Hamas terrorists.

Yair is 61. Instead of staying home, he chose to risk his life for people he does not know.

Yair Golan is a true hero.

Every morning before I start my day I use the Calm App to meditate and reflect. Jay Shetty's 7 minute wisdom has become my favorite thing to listen to.

This morning Jay shared a recent UC, San Diego study: On average we are bombarded with 34 GB of information daily!

It's like reading a 400+ page book in one day plus looking at photos and watching videos.

No wonder we feel overwhelmed.

I was reminded of Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now."

Apply that to the content you consume or choose to share.

What I am noticing with the content in front of me now? Is it something relevant to my business mission and what I am selling today? If so, reflect, jot, share.

Or the pages of content I want to share with my audience. What bite-size 30 second content can I give them that provides a big "Ah ha" moment?

Going forward - only intentional content consumption + intentional and helpful content sharing.

Do this and we all will be memorable.
