A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made our Yu-Gi-Oh! Day celebration at Comic Asylum such an awesome event!

Whether you competed, traded, spectated, or simply hung out with the community, events like these are only possible because of your continued support and passion for the game. Seeing Duelists of all ages come together to celebrate Yu-Gi-Oh! is what makes these events special.

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO JESUS "THE HERO" 🏆

Jesus battled through a field full of competitive decks and finished the tournament with a PERFECT 5-0 !

Not only did he go undefeated, but he did it with HEROES!

While many Duelists chose to battle with the current meta, Jesus stayed true to his deck, trusted his skills, and proved that dedication, experience, and mastery can still overcome the strongest competition.

The Comic Asylum is hosting our next RCQ (Regional Championship Qualifier) for Magic the Gathering Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at 10:00AM

Cost $40.00

This is a 2-SLOT Event and will have 2 Invites given out. The tournament will be run as Modern Constructed - Competitive Format.

Players who earn multiple qualifications in a Round may participate in both Regional Championship events.

Deck lists and access to the Magic Companion App are required. Please have it downloaded prior to arriving at the shop.

We will have a Judge handling calls, & in-house staff helping with deck checks.

Event will be Modern format using the appropriate swiss rounds based on attendance & a Top 8 Single Elimination Playoff round.

All 48 Participants will receive 1 Copy of "Ancient Stirrings" Full Art (Non-Foil) Promo Card.

Prizes:

After subtracting the Judge & SCG Kit cost, 50% of the Pot will be paid out in store credit to the Top 9 Players.

The % Breakdown will be stated below.

1st-16th WILL Receive a Non-Foil Extended Art Sowing Mycospawn Promo Card!

1st & 2nd Place Winners Each receive 1 FOIL Extended Art Sowing Mycospawn Promo Card, 22% of the Prize Pot & a SCG invite to the Championship.

3-4th: 15% each

5-8th: 6% each
