Tahoe Bags will be participating in the Nevada Women’s Fund’s fifth annual Power of the Purse at the Downtown Reno Ballroom. Treat yourself and a friend to a fun and festive evening of boutique shopping featuring 65+ local artisans and vendors selling one-of-a-kind gifts, home décor items, beauty products, jewelry and more. The evening also includes a designer purse raffle and a silent auction featuring intriguingly themed baskets. Tickets are $40 in advance at the Silver Legacy Box Office or through www.ticketmaster.com ($45 at the door) and include free, convenient parking at Silver Legacy & the Bowling Stadium, luscious libations and tasty appetizers. Proceeds support NWF’s mission to inspire achievement among women and families.

The 2012 Buy Local Marketplace held yesterday was a complete success for Tahoe Bags. What was extremely nice was to see all the locals come out and buy from the 118 vendors participating!
