Yarn Over Fibers Indie dyed yarn hand crafted in the Nevada desert. Hello there! My name is Tasha, I am the owner of Yarn Over Fibers on Etsy. I am still learning, but who isn't?

I am based in the Reno/Tahoe area, and I am deeply in love with the beauty I create! I was introduced to Etsy by my good friend Melissa, owner of Over Your Heart. Seeing her passion for her shop and watching her joy creating, rekindled my creative spark. I knew I had to jump back into the world of all things artsy! The question now was, "What to create?"

I have always been a lover of that special

time of year, when the leaves turn to gold and the air carries that refreshing bite. Sweater weather is what I look forward to every year, and what goes better with sweater weather than fiber arts! I grew up playing with knitting, but without a teacher, I never stuck with it. As I got older, I decided to teach myself crochet, and I've been hooked ever since! After brainstorming for a name, Yarn Over Fibers was born! Yarn Over Fibers isn't just a job for me, its my creative outlet. It is my hobby, and it is exactly what I want, and love, to do! I hope you find my creations as lovely and as cozy as I do, and I look forward to doing business with you! Thank You!

Wow! I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since my last post!

One year since I started my new job full time and my time for crochet and hand dying yarn instantly went p**f!

I just wanna say a huge thank you to everyone who supported this little adventure, by purchasing my yarn or crochet, or loving comments/likes and shares of my content. You all kept me so encouraged!

This past year has been busy, but I am ready to start a new journey on the creative front.

Hey guys! I know it’s been ages since I posted anything, but I thought I’d invite anyone local to come check out this great event we’re hosting at my job!

With the close of this year, I decided to start an education course to help me run my shop better, and with that came a new logo. I’m completely floored by how this came out, and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you guys!! By this time next year, Yarn Over Fibers will look very different and I hope you guys are as excited about it as I am!

With so many new faces joining us, I thought I’d do a
My name is Natasha, my best friend, and husband Mason and I have been married for three years this past August. I live in the Nevada desert, and I am a Jehovah’s Witness.
I absolutely love all things crafty, and taught myself to crochet last year via YouTube! I am also in the process of learning to knit (and finding it very difficult, so if you have any tips, let me know below!)
I’m learning as I go, and I’m incredibly stunned by the amount of support you all show me! I know I would have given up a looooong time ago if you guys weren’t here showing me all this love!
Thank you all, so much, for sticking around and encouraging me to continue growing with this craft. This community is honestly the best! 💕
