Independence from Hunger starts today Wednesday the 26th and goes until the end of July! Please join us in raising funds for our food banks for our annual Independence for Hunger food drive. Over the last 13 years, we have raised over $300,000 between both locations, Spanish Springs and Lemmon Valley. This year, we aim to raise the bar by collecting $60,000 between both stores, or $30,000 per store. How you contribute is by giving $5 or $1 or any amount you wish or by purchasing a premade bag with items for the food bank to stock right now! This time of year is especially hard for the food banks so this greatly helps them. When you purchase $5 or more you will get a $5 coupon to use from July 16th-31st, making it a win-win. We support Desert Heights Elementary food bank, The Community Food Pantry, Sparks Christian Fellowship Food pantry, Northern Nevada Map food pantry, and Operational Revival Food Pantry. We are also looking for local businesses to do a match day where a business determines the maximum amount they will match for a particular day based on what our customers donate that day!.
