Before you spend your Christmas savings in big corporate stores, on Amazon or other large businesses will you first go through your list and see what you can get locally or from an online family business.

🚨Buy from your favorite ministries and local shops. Find corporations that have private owned franchises like Ace Hardware or Chick-fil-A and purchase from there (your local Ace can order you almost anything and who doesn’t love a CFA gift card!!).

🚨Make your list and check it twice before you convenince shop on your phone or in the big lines.

🚨Throw away the old mindset of local is more expensive - many are very competitively priced as well as YOU WILL SAVE GAS!! Some places may be known for more expensive items because they aren’t buying in bulk, are one of a kind or are specialty pieces but they usually have cheaper options too.

🚨If you do shop at big stores, eat out in your community and fill up your tanks at home before heading out.

🚨if you can’t find it local, go to Etsy and support an artisan before you support a big box.

Don’t know where to start? Pull out your kids ball shirts and fundraiser tshirts and look at the sponsors who invest in the people you love. It’s time to get outside the box you have been marketed to and support those that support you.

McCurdy's On Main is an all time fave.

Gigi and Company is a great place to get specialty food gifts like jams and relishes as well as grab groceries and cook a meal as a gift!

AND BY ALL MEANS don’t forget your local salons, Avon, Mary Kay, School ans church fundraisers, MLMs like essential oils, Health and wellness and skin products (it’s 2021 and time to put that ridiculousness of not shopping with them away).

ANNNNNDDDDD go a little different route by going through your Facebook groups and pages and ordering from your friends “parties”.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this top! I think it was $26 The Drug Store, Reidsville Georgia (it may have been less) They have so many cute things. I even got a pair of earrings for $10!

Friends I BELIEVE in buying local! From mom & pops that are paying for their kids dance and football cleats with my purchases.

I also believe that a poverty mindset hurts many of us and robs us of so much!
Poverty mindset? 🤔🤔🤔
What I mean is the thought that you can’t shop at the boutiques because they are too expensive (but Walmart or the department store is cheaper). The thought that you can’t have cute things for your house because those cost too much! (I will just go to the dollar store)

Let me share my finds today (and a few options ive bought Recently) and shout out all the peeps I buy from on the regular. And note under each pic I want to share the prices.

Today I wore my brand new AMAZING black flare jeans from Peach Outfitters with my fave Tshirt from 🌸Georgia-Anns🌸 Terri Schwallenberg

Then while in Vidalia (getting my teeth cleaned at STC for $30), I ran by my fave 2 shops. I got some new Levi jeans from Gabrielle Daniels at Ellas and then went over to her mom, Polly Jean Durden’s shop, Gabbys The Market Place for Home Decor and got a cute floral shirt and a few things to fill my bread bowl.

And earlier this week I made a pit stop at Hairbow Heaven Gifts & More and picked up an awesome shirt (not to mention she made my custom shirt for We The People) and saw these amazing items!!!

And last week I found my fave little birdie necklace at Jincy’s Southern Exchange ✦ VIP

OOOOO and couldn’t forget my fave top from The Drug Store, Reidsville Georgia!

Guys we have been the mom&pop. Heath Harrelson and I know what it’s like to have a business in a small town. Can I just encourage you to consider local stores FIRST! You not only get great deals without driving far off, you get to meet amazing people and support your own local community!!!
