Please come by the "Flea for All" Event at the SoHum Park this Friday September 27th- from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm- and check out Community Cornerstone INC booth . Combination of Flea Market items from clients, to Cornerstone's Stepping Stones Fall and Halloween collection. I will also have some of my kids clothing, books, & Magnets - with Proceeds going to the clients that help at the booth. We also have Hand Painted pumpkin Ornaments by Artists at Cornerstone. Community Cornerstone INC's 30th Annual Redwood Summer Games is this Weekend! If you haven't Experienced this Wonderful Heart Warming Event yet - now is the time! Parade, Carnival, Juggling, Music, Dancing, Magical Treasure Hunt, Competition Games, BBQ, & Athletes with Special Needs Grinning from ear to ear! Volunteers always needed to be a Buddy , Help in the Carnival, Wash Dishes, or even Chase balls. If you want to just come and Cheer on the Participants- the Games are Saturday August 17th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Great way to get Community Service Hours for students! I created a new Group yesterday- Humboldt Events. Please join- and add any Local Events you know is happening NOW- or coming up. With all the Wonderful Non Profits, Community Organizations, and Local Talent we have in our area- we need a place where we can let our Friends, Neighbors, and Community , know we have an Event happening. I will be Deleting Events when they are over- to make it easier for people to find what they can enjoy NOW- or what they can Plan for in the near Future. I have been spending most of my Artistic Energy helping Cornerstone's Stepping Stones get off the ground. Some of the Stepping Stones are painted by myself, or other staff members. It helps inspire our Artists. Also the proceeds from Stones painted by Staff goes into the general pool to keep the program alive. It helps buy the concrete and Cement, the NOVA mural paint, etc. At this time I am not expanding my T-shirts beyond my current inventory. However, Redwoods Market & Deli in Myers Flat, and Garden of Beadin in Garberville have a variety of Clothing, Stickers, & cards. Redwood Thrift with Rejoyce Designs in Fortuna sells my stickers. And Redwood Raindrop Harmonics in Garberville has some of my Paintings, Magnets, & Books.
I do still have a LARGE inventory of Infant, and toddler onesies and T-shirts. Cornerstone will have a booth at the Mountain Folk Festival in Leggett May 25th from 10:00 am till dark. My daughter Autumn is selling her scrubs, candles, etc at a booth next to us. I might be able to put some of my Infant and Toddler inventory in with her...along with other Table items. We are getting ready for Spring at Community Cornerstone INC! We just got the official thumbs up that the Spring Carnival & Egg Hunt is happening again this year at the Southern Humboldt Community Park. Last year at this event it was our first pop up selling Cornerstone's Stepping Stones- and it has been a Wonderful Year! Looking forward to another fun day watching the kids look for the eggs- and the Community gathering to celebrate Spring! Here are a few of the Stepping Stones they are currently working on. The Net proceeds go directly to the individual artist! come see us on Saturday- March 30th!
