Married to a wedding photographer, I have seen beautiful weddings and sometimes what makes a pretty picture are the details...and let's just say, I *love* to make the details. I love to dabble in all sorts of party decorations and I get most of my inspiration from Pinterest, or from the diversity of Los Angeles. Many cultures and backgrounds inspire my work, and you'll occasionally see it in my dr

awings. I mainly work with actual chalk, but if you are worried about smudging, I can either use a type of setting spray or use actual chalk paint to prevent this. Chalk paint is a more contrasted look, and won't have the same softness as chalk, but that's entirely up to you. Private message me if you would like a custom order for your event or business. Here are my latest wedding chalk art!! Created 5 new pieces for Brennan and Todd for their Long Beach Museum of Art wedding venue today. They looked amazing on top of those authentic paint easels the venue provided. I felt honored to have some of my work at that beautiful museum! Congrats to Brennan and Todd and their amazing day! Congratulations to Emily and Kevin!! They welcomed their guests with this GORGEOUS mirror and chalk art. Not only do they have it for their wedding day, they can potentially hang it up in their home together to remember their special day. The mirror was provided by the client, and then they let me take care of the rest. Congrats and thanks for using Chalk and Letters for your wedding day!!

A friend asked me to do a chalkboard for her husband's 40th birthday party with all the things from 1975. What a great idea!! I researched all there was to know about 1975 to use for his (31" x 23") board: Avg costs of things, popular trends, highlights in the news, and hit movies and tv shows. I can't believe minimum wage was only $2.10?!? This was a fun chalkboard to do especially with real chalk to make it look more vintage. What a fun birthday treat!!

WELCOME to my page CHALK & LETTERS!! So excited for you to visit and check out my portfolio. I *love* LOVE chalk art and calligraphy, and only discovered it not too long ago. While working as an RN during the day, chalk art and design is my creative outlet. It truly makes me happy and I just feel so accomplished after each piece. Everybody needs a "Best Day Ever" sign on their wedding day!! How could you not?! Also made a small "Photobooth" sign and added a small camera- It came out really cute! This bride also wanted a "In Loving Memory" sign acknowledging and remembering all of those family members who were with them in spirit. Such a lovely touch and I'm sure all will appreciate this small gesture on their wedding day.

Here are a couple of projects for my bride. The first one is a super thoughtful "Thank You Note" chalk art painted on a custom made wooden platform. The next project is a fun Corn hole (aka. Bean Bag Toss) and custom calligraphy of the "Team Myra" (Bride) and "Team Paul" (Groom). Which team will win??!! Some of my favorite projects so far!!!

One of the first wedding projects anyone has asked me to do and it was marvelous!!!! This bride brought in all of these gorgeous golden framed mirrors and chalkboards for me to play with. There are more pieces to come, but I feel honored to have done these for her big day!!

My most favorite chalkboard yet! This inspiration came from an Indian wedding my husband shot at a few weeks ago. I already *love* henna and I wanted to incorporate it into this Welcome wedding sign!
