At Cotton Gin Fabric Shop we are always finding ways to reduce fabric waste. From a 7/8 yd cut we are able to get 2 fat quarters, a quarter yard cut, and a collage bit.

For smaller cuts of fabric, we send them to our bins for Scrap Salad Sunday. Whenever our bins fill up and we send out the email to everyone in our email list that Scrap Salad Sunday is a go. One of our customers, Carol Skiff, showed us what she has been able to make with the fabrics she gets from scrap salad. Not only are you all helping us reduce textile waste but you show us just how talented you all are!
