🐴☀️ Hot & Muggy Today – Don't Forget Your Horses! ☀️🐴

With the heat and humidity on the rise, take a few extra minutes to check on your horses throughout the day.

💧 Provide plenty of fresh, clean water
🧂 Make sure they have access to salt or electrolytes
🌳 Offer shade and good airflow whenever possible
🌅 Ride during the cooler morning or evening hours
👀 Watch for signs of heat stress such as excessive sweating, rapid breathing, lethargy, or a lack of sweating

Rule of thumb: If it's too hot and humid for you to be comfortable, your horse is feeling it too.

Stay safe, stay cool, and give those four-legged partners a little extra TLC over the summer. ❤️🐎

The last few afternoons I have noticed the 🐎horse flies🪰🦟 are out, so give me a call and stop out for some of your horse needs. I just wanted to remind you that I do have some odd size fly sheets. Assorted type and colors of fly masks. I have 3 sets of Shofly fly boots. 2 med, 1 small.
