Successful is an understatement- our first ever Walk-A-Thon Fun-Raiser was phenomenal 👏 🙌 It was the perfect day to walk, hang out, enjoy free massages, share breakfast, and good company all while raising funds for rebuilding lives! Our amazing teams gathered more than $10,000 in pledges AND shared smiles, hugs and conversation. PHENOMENAL 🎉 Many thanks are in order; we are blessed to be a part of such a beautiful community!

Happy 7 year work-anniversary to our Executive Director Crystal! For her this is more than a job it's her calling. ✝️ 7 years ago she stepped up to fill the Director position but 7 years before that she entered Francis Court as a homeless single mom, new in recovery.
A note from Crystal "I full heartily accepted this position having no realistic idea what I was getting myself into and that sentiment still returns from time to time. By the Grace of God my team and I continue to put one foot in front of the other and have trudged through some impressive challenges. The programs that we have built together are something we can be proud of and we are living testimonies proving that God doesn't call the prepared He prepares the called. It is an honor to serve in this capacity."

Look at a few of our awesome sponsors who are walking for FaithWorks!!! Thank you, Redding First United Methodist Church , Pilgrim Congregational, UCC, Redding, CA, and St James ELCA . We appreciate you all! First United Methodist is raising funds for Outreach Supplies: food, seasonal clothing, emergency supplies (blankets, tents, flashlights ETC), socks. Pilgrim Congregational Church is walking to raise funds for emergency needs; to keep the FaithWorks food pantry full, assist with emergency gas cards, hygiene items, clothing and to help pay utility bills for clients facing hardships. St. James Lutheran is walking for children's back to school clothes and youth summer day camp! These are just a few services we aim to provide to those in need at FaithWorks. We truly would not be able to do this without the support of people like you! 🥹💜
