💜 June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month 💜

At UpState Hearing Instruments, we are committed to protecting, supporting, and advocating for older adults in our community.

In Shasta County, there were more than 2,000 reports of elder abuse, with nearly half of those cases substantiated. To help raise awareness, the UpState Hearing Instruments team spent yesterday (Redding) and today (Anderson) placing flags in honor of those who have been affected by elder abuse.

Elder abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional, financial, and neglect, and it often goes unnoticed. We encourage everyone to stay aware and speak up. If you see something, say something. A simple act of advocacy could make a life-changing difference for someone in need.
