What do you think of my new listing photo layout? 📸 I'm super happy with how they have turned out!

One thing I have come to realize is that as much as I enjoy making pieces, I absolutely 💙 designing. It's a fun puzzle and challenge for me! Over the next year, I plan to spend a little bit more time designing and releasing patterns. I have so many even now that just.... sit. I want to start sharing them.

What about you? In whatever creative passion you have, do you prefer to have instructions or make your own?

This weekend, we had weather that resembled fall, but in true Northern California form, it did not last. 🥲

But! Since cooler weather is slowly trickling in and the pumpkin patches are opening (like my local favorite, Hawes Farms!), these lil Sunflower Earrings will be a huge go-to for me! 🌻

I swear.... 😩 I have made this pattern over a dozen times, both full sized and micro, and EVERY time I make the same mistake!

I do know how to fix it but I would love to, you know, make these without messing up each time.

Don't mind me, I'm just popping my head in! 👀

So... it's been a hot minute since I have really done any business stuff. Between projects and life, working the online portion of my business was the last thing on my mind but I miss it!

I miss (attempting) to write posts regularly. I miss interacting with other small businesses and making connections. I miss the excitement of sharing what I do with any poor soul who gives me the time of day. 😅

I know me, I won't be back online full time overnight. But I do know I will start awkwardly posting again and finding my rhythm and I'm excited to be here. 💙

I'm still around! Lurking here and there, still spreading a little love.

Would you believe I'm hiding because I have 41 items to make for orders? 😬😅 Just finished 4 pieces others as well! So I'm going to keep hiding in the shadows so I can write patterns and make goodies.

In the meantime, check out this adorable bowl I got awhile back from .elise! I love it (as well as 100% of her other work!) Had initally planned on using it as a yarn bowl but it's a perfect size for holding some jewelry instead. 💙 It's been keeping some rings and a bracelet from my hubby safe while I work.

If you haven't seen her page, you need to. Seriously. One day, I'm going to have a studio and fill it with so many of her goodies. So get in there before I do. 😆

What's fun about this one is the stitch design. It is a crocheted doll but the stitch appears to look knit. For all my crochet friends out there, it's called Waistcoat stitch and it is a stitch you should try at least once.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So this is a perfect example of how much things can change over time! This is my growth over the last year or so.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The large monkey has been kept for myself/my son. He carries it around, been feeding it, all good stuff. We both love it (I super love it).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But it was also my third attempt at such a design! And after more tweaking, more revisions, and eventually creating my small version, I ended up with the small version you all know! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My small version, both classic and evil, are available in my Etsy shop or via DM. I will get final medium and large versions available..... soon? 😅
