I occasionally make items using reclaimed/repurposed previously owned materials and fabrics. It gives me the greatest joy to create something that someone will treasure. I hope that any purchase you make from me gives you as much joy in your life as creating it gave me.

I have not written anything here in a while. I thought I would share my most treasured sewing related item. This silver thimble belonged to my great grandmother. I still use it every time I hand quilt, which I have not been able to do much of recently.

I finished this purse today. I really like it. I will have to take better pictures of it before I can list it for sale on Etsy. It is the first one I made using the new machine. I am still getting familiar with how to use an industrial machine, but I can see the difference in quality.It has a cross body adjustable length strap and I added purse feet on the bottom. On the inside, on each side, is a zippered pocket and a slip pocket with card slots on the front below the zipper. It was hard to photograph with bad lighting and my old phone.

Here is the results on my push button sewing today. They still need trimmed up and the iron on adhesive added. I made 6 of each. I plan to take pics and get these listed on Etsy soon.
