Picked up this cool little package last week. H&K 416D10 AF date code, unfired with all the parts including the proper adjustable buttstock and buffer tube. It also came with 7 unused mages two still in the bags. Now what to do with it? Rebuild the gun that killed Objective Cake Bread?

Here is the redo of the Turkey shotgun, the top one is the original factory finish that started coming off and the bottom is a freehand similar camo with KG Gunkote.

Collab with they did the engraving and we did the coating to match a pink bead the customer liked.

To my customers:

I want to be upfront with everyone. I’ve been dealing with an autoimmune/rheumatoid disease for over a year, and I’ve recently started treatment. Because of that, I may be moving slower than usual for a while, and some turnaround times may be longer than normal.

I’m still working, and I’m still committed to putting out quality work. I just ask for a little patience while I manage this and keep things moving.

This past weekend my best friend while I was in the Army was killed in a vehicle accident. We lived together and worked together for 27 months in country. He was a mentor and someone I always looked up to. Dave I will see you on the fiddlers green.

Well I messed up again. Customer said he wanted a gray/blue camo, and the blue was because he graduated from Penn State. I mixed a custom blue and when I showed it to him he said the colors were wrong. So from today forward all jobs will be written with specific colors and specifics on what you want done with pictures when available. No more artist freedom jobs unless specified and the contract will be signed. It’s a shame this has to happen but in 9 yrs I’ve only had now two customers not like the job and they have both been in the last two weeks. So due to what I call the Amazon Effect all jobs will get contracts signed whether it’s a repair job or a refinish job.
