Finally, the Tuesday night class got to go to Jim's shop for his demo and explanation of all that goes into making moulds and bases. With over 30 years of experience in making basket supplies, he is also an accomplished woodturner. Jim lectures and demonstrates his vast knowledge of woodworking also.

Our newbies have finished their first Nantuckets. We love to have students with some interesting backgrounds in connection to them.
The first basket with the quahogs is Lauries. Her father made Nantucket Baskets in PA. She is now following in her dad's footsteps with her first 6" Round. We are so glad she chose to do that here with us.

The second basket is Donna's. Her father was a scrimshannder. Donna is collecting his work when she can find it. Donna's first basket is such a treasure to her. Our class loves to have new excited students join us. Welcome to both of you and here's to much success in the future..

Ann-Marie finished one of her angels, Patty finished her second basket and NuSue finished her Resin Tray.
Beautiful work all of you. I love those wings, Ann-Marie, Patty you have done fantastic job on your wooden parts, and I love your sea turtles Sue. What an unusual tray.
