Totally unique designs created with the string blocks turned into potholders. Plus, an amazing cross stitch sunflower quilt by Sylvia during show and tell. And, Grace continues working on a crocheted baby afghan. Beautiful!

The creativity was really flowing yesterday at Patchwork Phoenix. Cindy Wagaman Hansen showed her log cabin quilt top. Beautiful, Cindy! Then, the tables were full of gals making string blocks into potholders. More pics to follow.

Patchwork Phoenix, 228 S. 1st Street, Raton, NM, will host Fashion Fling workshops every Thursday 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Sewing machines and other sewing tools will be available free of charge for those wanting to make an outfit for the Fashion Fling Fashion Show.

Fashion fabrics like polyester, silk, rayon, flannel, denim, gabardine, and more are available at hugely discounted prices......some even FREE for designers.

Patchwork Phoenix will now be open on Thursdays, 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Sewing machines and sewing tools are available to use free of charge to create outfits for the Fashion Fling Fashion Show on September 20, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Shuler Theater.

Fashion fabrics are available at hugely discounted prices to make unique fashions for the fashion show.

Lisa Camp showed some of her weaving to today's group. Here are photos of a couple of rugs, and a gorgeous cape. She will be demonstrating weaving techniques in a few weeks on a floor loom that is set up at Patchwork Phoenix. Watch for updates.

Our beginning quilting class was postponed because of illness. We have rescheduled the class for June . It will be held on Saturday, June 13, and June 20, 9:00 am until 4:00 pm both days.
