It's another staff pick Saturday!

Bookseller Kasey loved this Greek myth-inspired tale, saying, "Following the Greek myths of Aphrodite, This Immortal Heart breathes a new light into the goddess of love. This story not only humanizes Aphrodite as she showcases her love for mortals but it also explores her conflicting relationships with Ares and Hephaestus. I felt like this book fed my inner child that was obsessed with mythology, and I couldn't recommend it enough!"

Looseleft is just one of the many words in The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows that describes the indescribable

Bookseller Kristy says of this special book, "In a flurry of whimsy and phantasmagoria, this lexicon of words and essays captures the very essence of life. Small but mighty, John Koenig's dictionary sheds light on the sublime and offers comfort, answering questions like: Is there a word for that? Has anyone felt this way before?"

Behold our June Indie Next List book, The Children by Melissa Albert (Signed copies still available!)

Bookseller Heather says, "Alternating between the otherworldliness of a gothic children's story and a deceptively mundane contemporary narrative, Albert expertly weaves two timelines into a thoroughly creepy tale that teases like a cold breath on the back of your neck."
