Well, if it’s not one thing it’s another. While I was in California helping my mother who just got out of the hospital, I fell and broke my ankle. I have to have surgery on Tuesday so we’ll still be closed on Tuesdays for a bit until I can get around better.

Jake just called me to let me know that his car broke down and he’s not sure when he’ll be at the store today.

Sorry about all the calamities and wish I knew when he will be there today but for now we’re closed until he can get there today.

Hey All,

I have to make an emergency trip back to California, so Jake will be holding down the fort while I'm away. I hope to be back in a week but it could be longer. In the meantime, Jake can't work for weeks on end so he'll be closing the store on Tuesdays until I can get back. I'm going to try and not be away for more than 2 weeks.

Every year we host the Autism Society for one of their day camp days in our birthday room. the kids love it😊. After this they are going to see Toy Story 5. It’s always a great day for them and I look forward to hosting them every year.

This came in as a hot mess last week, it was a gross, severely dusty pile of broken up bricks contained in a box with many other broken up sets. I recognized that it is the Pirates of the Caribbean Silent Mary.

So I tried to find all the pieces in the big pile, took them apart and washed it all. I just finished putting it back together. I was pretty surprised that it was only missing 3 pieces but since the pieces are hidden I substituted for different colored pieces. Unfortunately none of the minifigs were in the pile but the ship is still pretty cool.

I’ll bring it in on Sat and it will be on display or for sale to the right person 😊
