If I've never expressed my dissatisfaction with the State of Colorado before today .....(satire).... this is the kind of stuff that makes a guy wonder how they expect small businesses to succeed at all...

It's not the .03 increase, it's really not even the original .28..... it's the overhead and time wasted for their stupid tyrannical BS.

Yes, we deliver.... to our customers for FREE.

So when I ignored their notices a few years ago... that was it.....

Then our lovely Rio Blanco County tax people got involved .... they figured out that we had been delivering stuff to Scout and Blue Mountain energy without informing them so they could take their cut of sales tax away from the town of Rangely....
... that made us start reporting those deliveries to them.... and paying to file a special "deliveries" $.28 fee to the state of Colorado when we did....
... sometimes that was two deliveries in a month.... sometimes 10.....(read here $2.80 in month)....

In those months that had no deliveries, we didn't file a report...

Now they pulled an audit.... went back to January of 2023, and charged me 15.00 for every month that I did not file......

$380....

Of highway robbery .....

I understand that they wanted a way to get Walmart and Amazon and all the other .coms to pay millions into their coffers....

But this is beyond stupid, is unjustified, and just another reason for businesses to flee this state....

We need a TABOR amendment on all fees, delivery fees, sales tax, gun fees, licenses, building permits, electrical permits, DOW, percentages of all license plates, EVERYTHING !
