We get asked “what’s the difference between the Gen 1 and Current SlingPAK TraumaPAK”. This is our first generation SlingPAK. The current ones have been upgraded and include Two hidden backpack straps, removable tourniquet holders, upgraded laser molle and upgraded internal pouches. Let’s save lives together 💪

Why it’s important to check the expiration dates on your equipment. This is especially true with chest seals. The reason is with the constant changes of hot and cold that affect your kit if it’s left in a vehicle, the hydrogel on all chest sales can become degraded and ultimately bind to the wrapper. This seal was still within its expiration date, but only a few months away and it is completely useless. Unless you’re trauma kit is kept in a temperature control building than I would change the chest seals more frequently. Let’s save lives together 💪

Everything you carry must have a purpose. It’s easy to add more and more gear all the time, BU….the reality is that space is limited and we should and sometimes only can carry only what we really need. So do you think that fire suppression and a small breaching tools are ideal to add to a bag like this or would you choose to add something else? Let’s save lives together💪
