Ramona Food and Clothes Closet A community based thrift store benefitting Ramona and the surrounding areas. The mission of the Ramona Food and Clothes Closet, Inc.

is to serve as a humanitarian organization providing emergency food, clothing, and other resources to aid individuals and low income families in Ramona, Santa Ysabel, Julian, Ranchita, Borrego Springs, Warner Springs and outlying rural areas. All of the net profits from the sales of donations go back into the community through community grants, educational scholarships, homeless programs, and emer

gency assistance. We also offer volunteer opportunities, disaster relief and a free medical equipment loan program. Grants are awarded to local charitable organizations dedicated to serving the needs of others in challenging situations. We operate on thrift store sales from donations from the community and individual monetary donations.

The Red Light Friday Flash Sales are happening Friday. When you see and hear our red light flash and announcements made, follow to where they are set up. That specific department will hold a 10 minute 50% off sale, with no limit on how many items you purchase. Sometimes it may even be good on no coupon items...they will advise you during the sale. Make sure to get that staff person to mark your item otherwise you won’t get the discount when you come to the register

Keeping our staff safe is extremely important to us at the Ramona Food & Clothes Closet and these hot temperatures are not safe for our donations staff. We will be closing donations drive through at 1pm, M-Sat through the end of August and evaluate the weather then. We apologize for any inconvenience.
