It’s January 2nd.
I’d like to say I’ve taken a few months off since we shut down orders, but the truth is, I’ve been working this whole year. My hope of having a few months before and after Boden was born to think and pray and assess my life simply didn’t happen, in true small business form🤪
As 2025 begins, I’m examining what the future might look like. I’ve been hit with the reality that in my early 40s, I’m truly middle age. As crazy as that seems, once you hit a certain age you really start to grapple with how short life really is.
I want to be intentional. I want the hours spent working to be meaningful and impactful. I want my time on earth to matter.
One of the biggest lessons I learned in 11 years of running a business is that business, as in life, is all about relationship. Relationship with your customers, with your team, and with your family and life outside of work has to be in balance or else you will life a life of striving, and we aren’t called to that.
So I’m looking to relationship as my answer as to what’s next. Which, as of now, means strategic executive coaching. I want to help business leaders meet their potential by focusing on the foundation of relationships in everything.
My first mastermind is starting in less than 2 weeks. While that cohort is closed, I may be opening a broader cohort for women business owners this spring.
