As a goal for Pride Month, Lux has spread knowledge of important events of the LGBTQ+ community. What better example than one of recent memory, the Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v Hodges (2015). It was ruled that same-sex marriage is to be legal in all 50 states. A pivotal moment, as the country recognized the basic human rights that had been denied for so long.
As we move forward as a society, we can only hope to continue to destroy the bigoted systems of our past to create a brighter tomorrow🏳️🌈
