RESPONSE TO DRC POST EXPELLING NLG
Northern Lights Gallery is writing this as a final statement about what happened when we were expelled from the DRC April 1, 2024. But first we would like to thank everyone who has called or commented in support of Northern Lights Gallery.
When we asked the DRC what we did to be expelled, they said the decision was not made lightly, and they wanted to assure us it reflects a strategic realignment of their partnership policies and objectives. When asked what the policies and objectives were, we were told that information was confidential.
We admit we were critical of DRC events and we made it known by using our first amendment rights, and expressing our customer feedback.
For those who think this is made up, we would be happy to share communications between NLG and the DRC, which also states that Northern Lights Gallery is not a good fit for downtown.
Unlike the DRC, NLG believes in open records.
