We are on the mend… ❤️🩹
and that makes me a happy girl!
Since we planted the rows of sorghum, we’ve mowed it twice, July 7th and July 28th. Each time it grows back stronger and greener which is a sign that we the nutrients are balancing. We mowed it down again today and will let it grow back, crimp it, and then tarp to prep for cool crop planting in October. We are hopeing for a bountiful spring!
I will be sending a soil sample off to LSU AgCenter this week to see what the sorghum has done for balancing minerals. I can’t wait to share!
Berkeley helped us this morning! Slide to the last picture to see her post-morning dew. 🐶❤️
