Screen Print- There is a minimum order quantity of 24 shirts in order to screen print. Screen print is to force ink or metal on to a shirt through a prepared screen of fine material so as to create a picture or pattern. Direct to Garment- DTG is a printing method that sprays the ink onto the garment. The ink then soaks into the fibers of the garment. It is just like printing onto paper but is actu
ally printing to the material. Dye Sublimation-The term sublimation describes the process in which dye particles convert into gas and bond to polyester fibers. The inks used are unique and transform from a solid to a gas, without ever changing to a liquid form such as dry ice. Sublimation is an endothermic process. The ink is transferred on to paper through a piezoelectric print head and deposited onto the high-release inkjet papers. SUBLIMATION CAN ONLY BE DONE ON LIGHT COLORED POLYESTER MATERIAL. SUBLIMATION HAS NO FEEL TO IT, AS THE POLY FIBERS IN THE SHIRT ARE DYED. Sublimation DOES NOT print in white ink. Vinyl- Vinyl printing is all about heat transfer. You use a machine to cut out letters and designs from colored vinyl and heat-press them onto the t-shirt to transfer the color to it. VINYL CAN BE ADDED TO ANY SHIRT MATERIAL OR COLOR! Vinyl DOES HAVE a rubbery feel to it. Heat Transfers- A digital image is printed onto special transfer media. The transfer media is then placed onto the product, transferring the ink from the media onto the product. Heat Transfers CAN be put on any color shirt and any material. Heat transfers can be full color prints and DOES print in white.
