Santa clause was good to me……sike 😆. Not mine, Work guns , work needs to be done with them . Initial thoughts about the Gen 6 g***k is very positive, I like several of the updated features to include the new texture rtf 2.0 grippy grip, the mounting insert for 508 is very straightforward and does sit lower in slide but not low enough to cowitness the factory iron sights, trigger guard undercut as well as slide stop is fenced to keep from a high grip from engaging the slide stop prematurely during firing and scalloped area around the takedown lever makes it feel like it is easier to access. Trigger is an improvement for a g***k . Without shooting it , I like it , but I have been a g***k fan since I got into shooting, Zeroing and shooting reports later .

This weekend, I got to take my family to the black cowboys museum in Rosenberg. In a couple of hours, I got a better history lesson then a whole semester in college. I am thankful to always learn the things not taught in most schools and thankful for the chance to learn things from a huge knowledge base as Mr.Callies. If you are in the Houston area, you should visit, you will be glad you did!!!

Trying something new, my first SLX 1-6 Red dot bright with Acss Nova reticle which is my absolute favorite reticle for its utilitarianism. I have been extremely impressed over the last year with and bought a 12 o clock mount for the RS10S as well . I used the 45° offset prior . All of this on the incredible 12.5 sbr which has been an absolute hammer for me, reliable, accurate and relatively light as well. Ammo will be one of my favorites, 70gr tsx ,that has harvested both deer and hog for me in the past.This should be a very very capable gun for inside of 300 plus.Zeroing and harvesting a doe will priority number one

Good evening , good folks, as we get closer to thanksgiving, I want to help where I can . I have 10 turkey baskets that I would like to donate to 10 families in central Texas. Hunting season has crept up on me but decided to try to hunt with another 5.56 sbr this year, Upper is a Roscoe 12.5 bloodline barrel, rail and BCG and a c**t lower I had available. Went and got a great zero using the new 1-8 PLX RDB , and 75gr SBR interlock. Not a bad group at all . Let see if I can get a hog or deer this year with the set up .
