I want to speak openly and intentionally. What’s happening right now around ICE and immigration enforcement is no longer a political issue. It has surpassed that. This is about human lives, safety, dignity, and the very real fear many people are carrying every day.

Before I put anything out I needed time to process everything while protecting my mental health and choosing my words with care.

This fear is not hypothetical. People have been detained, families separated, and lives lost as a result of enforcement systems like ICE. That reality deserves to be named plainly.

As an alternative, inclusive business, especially in an area where building this kind of space is not always easy, I want to be clear about our values. This space exists as a place of refuge, respect, and community. Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated here.

You may notice that we will remain open tomorrow. Please know that this decision was made with care.

As a small business, I have people who depend on this space for work, for community, and for safety. Keeping our doors open is how we continue to show up and hold space when people need it most.

How we help each other right now:

- Look out for one another.

- Share only verified, accurate information.

- Respect privacy and boundaries. No one owes their story.

- Offer support without judgment, debate, or interrogation.

- Step in with CARE if you see someone being targeted or harassed.

- Please share resources responsibly and prioritize safety over visibility.

You are welcome here. You deserve dignity. And we will continue doing everything within our power to keep this a space rooted in care, protection, and humanity.

This year at Moon Rabbit Collective has been a journey full of growth, learning curves, challenges, and so many meaningful moments. Like any small business, we’ve had our ups and downs, but through it all, your support has kept us going.

We’re incredibly grateful to still be here, creating, curating, and holding space for things we truly believe in.

Every purchase, kind word, and bit of encouragement reminds us why we do this.
