Let's talk colors,
Color scheme is the first decision to be made when designing.
With this design, contrasting colors makes it feel vibrant.
Blue and orange are on opposite sides of the color wheel, or contrast eachother. The opposite hues next to each other make each color appear more crisp and clear to the eye. The pink bridges these two colors here.
Then I choose specific flowers to play a role in the design.
The amaranthus here, creates drape and air for an ethereal feel.
I also chose varying cosmos and scabiosa to add more movement throughout. These are often called "dancers".
I do get the joy of playing with flowers...but in a methodical way 😉
