Working on the cabin borders around the cross stitch but I think the reddish brown is too much. Maybe I’ll use it for a binding around the pillow. Opinions!

Spent today cleaning my studio after moving my long arm machine to the store. Found this older cross stitch bird house. Thinking I’ll make it into a pillow with a log cabin block around it. Looking through my fat quarters. Here’s my start of a fabric pull.

It’s Slow Stitch Club night at Webfabrics 🧵✨

Once a month, members of our Slow Stitch Club gather to work on hand sewing projects in a relaxed, welcoming space. No sewing machines needed — just dedicated time to focus on you, your creativity, and connecting with others who love making things by hand.

Bring whatever project makes you happy:
• Cross stitch
• Hand appliqué
• Quilt binding
• Crochet or knitting
• English paper piecing
• Embroidery
• Or simply organize your next project and enjoy the company

There’s no pressure and no rules — work on whatever you’d like, at your own pace.

The club meets twice a month, with both daytime and evening options available. Come when you can and enjoy a little creative time for yourself. 💕

Behind the scenes at our virtual Quilted Sneakers prep Zoom session 👟🧵

Sydney walked everyone through how to prep the materials, quilt the fabric, and get everything ready for assembly day. From stabilizers and fabric choices to cutting and prep tips, this session was all about setting students up for success before construction begins.
