Throwback to the early days of the Village Sunliner ✨

When it first arrived at the Village, the Sunliner tram quickly became a guest favorite—carrying 55–66 seated passengers and offering a fun, easy way to explore the property. A one-of-a-kind experience for our shopping village, it was just as much a part of the visit as the destination itself.

While the Sunliner may no longer be in service, that same spirit of hospitality lives on today. Our complimentary Cart shuttles continue the tradition—offering convenient pick-ups from your car and drop-offs right to your destination.

From then to now, we’ve always aimed to help guests beat the Florida sun and enjoy the Village with ease.

For decades, they have helped create unforgettable memories on the waters of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River, becoming a beloved part of the Punta Gorda experience and an important part of the Fishermen's Village family.

We are grateful for their longtime partnership, their dedication to our community, and the countless adventures they've shared with residents and visitors alike. Here's to celebrating this remarkable milestone and many more years ahead!

There are few businesses more woven into the fabric of Charlotte County than King Fisher Fleet. Stop by today until 1 PM in the parking lot behind Sunset Beach on the west side of the property. Free services are available for Village staff, merchants, employees, and the public. Walk-ins are welcome, or call 941-419-6819 for more information.

We're proud to partner with the Virginia B. Andes Mobile Clinic to bring valuable healthcare resources directly to our community and look forward to making this a regular off-season service.

We’re excited to share a new community partnership with the Virginia B. Andes Mobile Clinic, coming to Fishermen’s Village for its inaugural visit on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 9 AM–1 PM.

The mobile clinic will be located in the parking lot behind Sunset Beach on the west side of the property. All services are free, and walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are also available by calling 941-419-6819.

This clinic is open to Village staff, merchants, employees, and the public, with the goal of bringing this valuable resource to the Village on a monthly basis during the off-season.

We encourage all merchants and staff to help share this opportunity with your teams so everyone can take advantage of these free services.
