Did a cable fix for the customers this Ibis but while the bike was in the stand noticed a noise from the rear wheel , kinda like sealant ball or something rattling around in the rim, pointed it out to the customer and he figured ride fast enough and centrical force will keep it quiet , he’s not wrong 🤣

Interesting rim flaw on a vintage Schwinn S-7 rim either a Friday on the line or water and freezing , customer is restoring the bike so we will be seeing these back for wheel building at some point in the future, might be doing a rebuild on the Bendix 2 speed too 😉

A bit of odd fix , on this Raleigh , but not sure exactly what was causing cable stop fit issue , suspect a bit of glue or extra carbon , making cable end cap smaller was quickest fix 😉

Completely custom , a friend of mine who’s a highly skilled machinist made this stem for his classic Jamis Boss cruiser, then rode it over to show me , a fine piece of work in my opinion 😎

Ended up with mid 1990s Cannondale M500, looked a bit rough but after a bit cleaning and a few parts in the ultrasonic it’s kinda like a time capsule, I think it’s basically new 😁

Customer was moving and gifted me most of a old Trek 820, bike shop is in busy season so this one is heading to the home shop , I plan to work on it at my leisure between other stuff , like the 1954 Chevy that’s in progress 😏

Custom fabrication to fill in the space the B screw uses on the 10s SRAM derailleur , customer is leaving for gravel tour on his Trek 920 , so a 300+ mile test of this fix should be interesting 😉

As the old monopoly card said “Bank error in your favor “ this 2026 Trek Marin came out of the box factory with a bit of a parts upgrade , but missing a remote lockout for the Fox Shox , so think this might work 😉
