- Transfers are available the following business day after tracking shows item has been delivered.
- Transfers are available up to 30 minutes before scheduled store closing hours.
- Licensed dealers shipping in fi****ms must include a copy of their FF
L, as well as documentation showing buyers name,
contact info, and make, model, and serial number of each firearm.
- Individuals shipping in fi****ms for transfer MUST include a LEGIBLE copy of their state driver license or state ID, as well as
documentation showing buyers name, contact info, and make, model, and serial number of each firearm. Firearm will not be
transferred to purchaser without this information.
- Long Guns: 18+ with valid government issued ID.
- Handguns, Receivers and NFA Items: 21+ with valid government issued ID. Must be Washington resident.
- ID must show current physical address, OR purchaser must provide government issued document with current physical address and name. Transfer Fee:
- Fi****ms From Online Retailers: $40 Per firearm, an additional $18 fee collected for the State of Washington for all semi-auto rifles.
- Private Party Transfers: $40 for the first firearm and $35 for each additional firearm transferred on the same 4473
background check. Disclaimer:
- The person who purchased and paid for the firearm (Named on the invoice) must be the same person to pick-up the firearm from Red Dog Defense.
- Fi****ms not claimed within 10 days of arrival will incur storage fees of $10 per firearm, per day, for 35 days (after the initial 10 days = 45 days) until the fees reach the fair market value of the firearm(s), at which time unpaid / unclaimed / or abandoned transfers become the property of Red Dog Defense and will be disposed of to satisfy storage fees, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Storage fees will not be incurred while background checks are awaiting approval by law enforcement.
- Background checks returned with a delay or denial will still be charged a $40 transfer fee.
- Delayed background checks will be stored by Red Dog Defense without storage fees until the background check is returned with an approval. Once approval is received and buyer is notified, buyer will be given an additional 7 days for pickup before incurring storage fees.
- Furthermore, a denied buyer has 10 days to arrange for a refund from the seller and arrange/pay return shipping or negotiate a sale agreement with Red Dog Defense to sell/consign the firearm.
- By choosing Red Dog Defense to receive/facilitate your firearm transfer, you understand and accept this transfer policy. RETURNS/CANCELLATIONS
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 20% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 20% restocking fee (totaling 35%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging. Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
3. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.

Cancelled Orders:
You may cancel or change your order within 24 hours of placing your order without a restocking fee. If the item is NOT listed as "On The Shelf" and is coming from a supplier, a restocking fee of 20% will be assessed if the order is not cancelled within 24-hours of being placed. This fee is assessed to cover the cost of return shipping and restocking fees from the supplier. USED FI****MS
The seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available. All machine guns are considered used unless otherwise noted. GENERAL FIREARM SALES
All fi****ms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the fi****ms, magazines and parts for sale on our website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm. All new fi****ms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Fi****ms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated fi****ms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing.
