The Utah Bibliographic Society took up the era of master forger and murderer Mark Hofmann last night at their biannual meeting held at the Alta Club Building in downtown Salt Lake City.

I was one of four speakers, including Boston dealer Ken Rendell, whose speech was read by Society President Kent Tschanz, Richard Turley, author of the book "Victims", covering the Hofmann case and the LDS Church and author/dealer Michael Vinson.

A question and answer portion was conducted afterwards by Brad Westwood, Senior Historian for the Utah Division of History, with questions proffered from the 90 members in attendance.

It was a very informative evening covering various aspects of the sad events surrounding Utah's first bombing deaths of October 15, 1985, and forgeries for which Hofmann was sentenced to the Utah State Prison for life and where he continues to reside.
