Bringing “Violet” to life with the incredible Lisa Varga 💜✨

Never in a million years did I imagine I’d one day collaborate with the company behind the iconic violet candies I’ve loved since childhood. Working with Choward's Fine Mints & Gum to create this whimsical candy-inspired look has truly felt like a full-circle moment.

From sketch to embellishment, every detail was designed to capture the soft vintage romance and nostalgia of Violet mints — wearable art inspired by a childhood favorite. 💐🍬

Proof that you never know where your creativity can take you.

Millinery is art.

One thing many people don’t realize is that art cannot truly be duplicated. I’m often approached to recreate a design exactly as it was made before, but every fascinator and hat I create is hand-crafted, shaped, and styled individually.

Even if I tried to make an identical piece, I couldn’t. The placement of every flower, feather, fold, and detail happens organically in the creative process. That’s the beauty of wearable art — each design becomes a one-of-a-kind creation with its own personality and movement.

No factory. No mass production. Just craftsmanship, artistry, and the hands of a milliner creating something unique every single time.

That’s just how art works. ✨
