The 2025 National Propane Gas Association fall board meeting is in the books!!
It was a joy and privilege as the Vermont state rep. For NPGA to be able to help host this meeting.
We started off with a wonderful welcome reception aboard the spirit of the Ethan Allen Sunday night to beautiful skies, wonderful color and warm temperatures . I certainly said my prayers and held my breath on this one.😊
Next, we jumped into the meetings first thing Monday morning with a wonderful round table discussion for PGANE members on what’s happening in our states and where do we go from here.
Monday afternoon..
came our member services session that I am honored to be co-chair with an amazing young lady.
Taylor Alexander, I’m grateful for all your hard work and being willing to help with this member services section.
We hosted a topic on
AI in your every day work life.
It was really well attended and I don’t think Taylor and I could’ve asked for a better turnout.
Our panel was amazing. !!
Many thanks to …
Freddie Ridler from
Rural Computer consultants
Steve Gasser from vivid image
Nathan McShinsky from
Eastern Propane gas
And last, but certainly not least my Co Chair Taylor Alexander from Global gas
You all did amazing. Thank you so much.
The meetings were full of great information and wonderful guest speakers, including our guest speaker Robert Bryce a journalist and film producer from Austin, Texas.
And
a
A quick visit to welcome our group by Lieutenant Governor
John Rogers
Many thanks for taking the time to join us and welcoming our group to Burlington.
We had the launch of
NPGAid - a new Propane industry, disaster, relief fund, that, although I hope we never have to use will be a wonderful resource for families in our industry.
Thursday evening was our chairman’s reception honoring New England’s own Michael Hopsicker -
I’m truly honored to serve on the board with Mike as our leadership 💙
Last - as we closed out our meetings this morning on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at our board of directors meeting. I was surprised to receive an award!!
This industry continues to humble me every day.
I do what I do because I love the Propane associations that I belong to.
I believe in what we do
And I believe in energy security for our customers, our communities and all of Vermont.
To be recognized for something that I love getting up and doing every day is truly my honor.
